CHALLOW & Childrey were crowned Oxfordshire Under 17 champions following a 41-run victory over hosts Horspath in the final.
Put in to bat, Challow got of to a flier, speeding to 42-0 off four overs.
The loss of three quick wickets saw their run rate drop, but they went on to score 145-9 off their 20 overs.
In reply, Horspath lost early wickets to slip to 23-3, with Will Humphreys taking 3-8 in his opening spell.
Alfie Turner attempted to rebuild the home side's innings, but his dismissal saw Horspath lose further wickets as they reached 104.
Challow collected the Honey Bee Trophy, award in memory of the former Horspath player and Christ Church College groundsman Morris Honey.
In an exciting semi-final, Challow defeated Hook Norton by two wickets.
Chasing Hooky’s total of 90, Challow crashed from 36-0 to 74-8 before scraping through.
Horspath defeated Aston Rowant by 50 runs in the other last-four clash, after posting 160.

The England under 19 all-rounder, who plays for Oxford, scored his maiden first-class half-century for Gloucestershire last month.
