OXFORDSHIRE Under 15s secured their place in the ECB National Cup final after beating Sussex by 69 runs at Great & Little Tew.
Following a great display in the semi-final, Oxon will now take on Scotland in the final, at Denstone College, Uttoxeter, next Wednesday.
Consistent batting, rather than one major innings, saw them make 233 in 49.4 overs.
After winning the toss, openers Luke Charlesworth (36) and Freddie Smith (31) put on 67 for the first wicket.
There was a slight collapse, but Dee Jarvis, who made 49 not out from 53 balls, with support from Joseph Elliott (27) plus a late cameo from Anton Eisner (21) helped Oxon set the visitors target of 234.
Elliott and Thomas Lydford-Brace then reduced Sussex to 36-3, before spinners James Coles and Ethan Davie turned the screw.
Smart fielding by Freddie Smith earned a run out before Lydford-Brace finished things off with two more wickets for impressive figures of 4-24, as Sussex were bowled out for 164 in 41.2 overs.
Meanwhile, Oxfordshire Under 17s will play Leicestershire in the semi-finals of the Royal London County Cup semi-final at Didcot tomorrow (10.45).
Oxfordshire Girls Under 17s secured a nail-biting six run win over Northamptonshire, thanks to a superb all-round display from Sophie Mitchelmore.
After hitting 125 in Oxon total of 208, she then took 4-39 as Northants were restricted to 202-8.
