ASTON Rowant have not given up on the Home Counties Premier League Division 1 title – but know they cannot afford another slip.
Defeat against Tring Park last week saw Rowant drop to third, 21 points off leaders Slough.
Will Pendered comes in for Ben Knowler for tomorrow’s derby clash with Banbury, which Chris Watling knows they must win.
“It was a good opportunity to stay hot on the heels of Slough last week, but it was not a great performance,” he said.
“However, we feel if we can win our final three games we are still in with a great chance.”
Banbury are without Steven Green for the rest of the season.
The seamer has flown back to Zambia, with Jamie Curtis called up to face Rowant.
“Steven fitted in well here and is a good player who will be missed,” said skipper Lloyd Sabin.
Oxford make four changes for their home clash with Tring Park, knowing they could be relegated if they fail to win.
Freddie Simon, Ian Crosby, Calvin Dickinson and Ben Charlesworth come in for Shami Mendis, David Murphy, Alex Morgan and Hadji Sadiqi.
“The table doesn’t lie, we are where we are for a reason,” said skipper Jamie Perkin.
“We’ll just have to keep giving our all and see what happens.”
Horspath need only one win to ensure their safety and welcome back James Fitzjohn and Milly Faruq for the clash with basement side Thame Town.
“Although Thame are now relegated they have some good players and it won’t be easy for us,” said skipper Will Eason.
“We don’t want to go into the last game or two needing points to stay up, so want to try to get the win we need as soon as possible.”

Division 2
SKIPPER Anupam Sanklecha says Shipton-under-Wychwood aim to bow out with their heads held high.
Bottom for almost the entire season, Shipton will be relegated if they fail to win at Datchet tomorrow – and even victory may not be enough.
“We will just try to go out and be positive,” he said. “Hopefully we can pick up another win or two before the end of the season.”
Charlie Miller, Ian Lewis and Rob Panting return to the Shipton XI.
Great & Little Tew, for whom Lloyd Brock replaces Toby Parker, are looking to delay Buckingham Town’s promotion party.
The leaders travel to Tew having lost only once this season – to tomorrow’s hosts.
“It would be nice to do the double over the side likely to win the title,” said skipper Harry Smith.
