JACOB Mayers hammered a brilliant 123 not out as Minster Lovell 2nd thrashed hosts Horley 2nd by 150 runs in Division 6 of the Cherwell League.
The superb knock helped the visitors to 250-4, before Horley were restricted to just 103-9 in 50 overs, Dan Faulkner the pick of the Minster attack with 3-29.
Eynsham began life in the league with a 107-run win over Banbury 4th.
They were bowled out for just 144, Ben Smitten hitting 48. But Banbury then slumped to 37 all out in reply as Tom Gerken took 4-11 and Sam Hollingshead 4-20.
In Division 7, an unbeaten 82 from Adeel Ahmed and 68 from Andy Haynes proved key as Oxford & Bletchingdon Nondescripts 2nd recorded a six-wicket win at Aston Rowant 4th.
David White (97no) had helped Rowant to 213-7, before Nondies reached 214-4 with nearly nine overs remaining.
In Division 8, Ellie Norton took 5-31 to help Charlbury 2nd to a 59-run win against Oxford Downs 3rd.
Jamie Bates took a five-wicket haul for Tiddington 3rd in their four-wicket win against local rivals Thame Town 3rd in Division 9.
Bates claimed 5-22 and Ellie Noble 4-25 in Thame’s 75 all out, and then Nathan Dales hit 36 to see Tiddington to
79-6.
