A new initiative run by City of Oxford to encourage people to take up the sport has been judged a success.
More than 70 swimmers took part in the"Be Safe for Summer" scheme, a series of intensive courses at Ferry Sports Centre.
A beginners crash course, taught four and five-year-olds to swim five metres.
Meanwhile, older swimmers achieved their Level 1 ASA Personal Survival awards.
There are places left on the Introduction to Mini Polo course at Ferry from August 28-31and the mini polo course at Barton Pool on Mondays at 6.30pm.
