Oxfordshire seamer Ryan Newhook took a hat-trick to earn Banbury a draw at Reading in Division 1 of the Sommers Home Counties Premir League.
The former Bourton Vale paceman removed Sukhi Kang, Paul Turk and Luke Beavan with consecutive balls in the 47th over to end Reading's hopes of victory.
Chasing Banbury's 230-9 dec, the Berkshire side were on 174-2 after David Barr (80) and David Barnes (77) had given them a good start when Newhook struck his triple blow.
It stopped Reading in their tracks and they closed on 212-7 with Newhook finishing with 5-59.
Earlier, Craig Haupt had top-scored for Banbury with 72.
