HORSPATH Hammers will have four representatives travelling down under to compete on the world stage in Australia.
On the back of an impressive season, Zac Payne and Will Jeffery will compete for Team GB in the seniors and under 18s Ashes Series.
Horspath’s vice chairman and former rider Geoff Gamage is also involved in his role as team manager for the ladies and veterans squads.
The first test is on Tuesday, November 14.
Payne and Jeffery have also been selected for this month’s World Championships in Adelaide.
They will be joined by Hammers teammate Lukas Nowacki, who will compete for Poland.
All three riders will be hoping to reach the finals, with the qualifiers on November 15-16.
Horspath’s chairman Wayne Mazey is delighted Hammers riders have achieved international recognition.
He said: “As a club we are mightily proud of all their achievements and wish them all the success over the next four weeks, and of course to enjoy the experience.”
