BLACKBIRD Leys ABC duo Keenan Dallimore and Isra Hale are celebrating after landing national success.
The pair won gold in the male under 75kg class and female under 57kg category respectively at the England Development Championships in Solihull, West Midlands.
Dallimore was quick out of the blocks in his final against Bilton Hall ABC’s Ewen McKenzie.
The Blackbird Leys boxer threw some great combina-tions against his skilful southpaw opponent in an even first round.
Both boxers landed good solid punches in the second, but Dallimore went for glory in the final round.
And it paid off as he threw a barrage of punches to land gold on a split decision.
Hale faced Arena ABC’s Hayley Forbes in her final, continuously catching her opponent in the opening round.
She continued where she left off in the second and third, making good use of the jab to earn victory on a unanimous decision.
