KIRTLINGTON’S George McEachran is still on Cloud Nine after England Under 17s’ World Cup victory in India.
The teenager, who has followed older brother Josh through the ranks at Premier League giants Chelsea, helped his country record a stunning 5-2 win over Spain in Saturday’s final.
England trailed 2-0 but fought back to record a landmark victory at Kolkata’s sold-out Salt Lake Stadium.
McEachran, who played the full 90 minutes, tweeted today: “WoooooW what a night, words can’t describe our feelings right now.
"Also I thank you for the all the messages I appreciate them all."
