DIDCOT Town’s run of four Evo-Stik South League victories came to an end as they were defeated 2-1 at AFC Totton.
The Railwaymen were unable to repeat their recent fine displays as they they went behind in the tenth minute of their West Division game.
Tony Lee’s well-struck free-kick on the edge of the area beat Didcot goalkeeper Leigh Bedwell.
They fell further behind in the 25th minute when Lee’s cross was deflected to Alfy Humphries, who made no mistake from close range.
Didcot improved a lot after the break, and Felipe Barcelos continued his rich goalscoring form in the 48th minute when he scored his fourth in four games since signing for the club.
The visitors pushed for an equaliser, but the game became very scrappy and the hosts held on.
