KEENAN Dallimore booked his place in the 69-75kg final of the National Development Championships with a split decision win over Chris Cunningham.
The Blackbird Leys ABC fighter was quick out of the blocks and enjoyed a strong first round, before a close second ensued, with his Islington ABC opponent looking to exploit his weight advantage.
But Dallimore pulled out all the stops in the third and final round to claim victory in an exciting bout.
The final takes place on Saturday in Solihull.
Dane Simmonds was unable to join his Blackbird Leys counterpart as he lost on a unanimous decision to Tiamo Asiama in the 64-69kg semi-finals.
Blackbird Leys’s Isra Hale will also be fighting in Solihull this weekend, taking to the ring in the women’s under 57kg final.
