OXFORD RL are looking to record back-to-back wins for only the second time this season when they host Coventry Bears in their final home match today.
The Blues welcome the West Midlands side to Abingdon’s Tilsley Park off the back off their 18-12 victory over University of Gloucestershire All Golds last week.
It ended a 12-match winless run across Kingstone Press League One’s regular and Shield campaigns.
A victory today over Bears would see them jump ahead of today’s opponents into fifth in the end-of-season competition between the bottom eight teams.
Oxford have already beaten Coventry this year, recording a 30-28 victory in the cup.
But Bears gained revenge on Good Friday, claiming a 40-28 victory in the league – their first away defeat of the season.
Head coach Tim Rumford has only one injury concern, with forward Stu Biscombe ruled out.
