OXFORD RL bid to halt their disappointing run of form when they travel to the capital today to take on London Skolars in their third Kingstone Press League One Shield game.
The Blues ended the regular season with eight successive defeats and have lost their first two games in the competition for the division’s bottom eight teams.
Oxford come up against a Skolars side whom they have already beaten this year – 24-20 in the League 1 Cup.
Head coach Tim Rumford has no injury concerns, while Tommy Newbould returns from suspension and Anthony Cox is now fully fit.
Meanwhile, Oxford Cavaliers take on Swindon St George in the grand final of the West of England competition at Portway Rugby Development Centre in Bristol.
