OXFORD RL crashed to their seventh defeat in a row when they were hammered 80-10 by title contenders Barrow Raiders at Craven Park.
The hosts raced over for 14 tries in the Kingstone Press League One clash, which saw both sides finish with 12 men.
Eze Harper scored three tries for Barrow, with Lewis Charnock kicking 12 conversions.
Oxford hit back with scores from Harrison Brough and Harvey Burnett, but there was no way back after they trailed 56-0 at half-time.
All centre Harper’s tries came in the first half, with Barrow’s other scores coming from Brad Morrow (2), Danny Marwood, Jamie Dallimore, Shane and Dan Toal, plus Ryan Johnston Tensions boiled over five minutes into the second half when Oxford’s Jordan Siddons took exception to being held down too long in a tackle and received his marching orders.
Barrow’s Matty While was also dismissed for running in and joining in the fracas.
An unconverted score from winger Brough and a try from second row Burnett, who also added the extras, gave Oxford some consolation.
But further tries from Brett Carter, Ollie Wilkes, Joe Bullock and Tom Walker gave the scoreline an unflattering look.
Oxford: Kay, Riley, Newbould, Cooke, Brough, Windley, Hyde; Biscomb, Canterbury, Payne, Siddons, Burnett, Alexander. Interchange: Welsh, Brooker, Moules, Nicholson.
