TENSION will be running high for Gael Bigirimana this weekend – and a first appearance at Wembley is only partly responsible.

The midfielder is fit to line up in Coventry City’s midfield against Oxford United on Sunday, but could have a very tough decision to make.

Bigirimana’s wife Natalia is due to give birth to their first child tomorrow.

Lee Marsh, the 23-year-old’s agent, told the Coventry Telegraph: “Hopefully the timings work out well for the lad and make for a very happy few days in the Bigirimana household as well as the football club.”

Sky Blues boss Mark Robins will have to make changes to his side even if the Newcastle United loanee is able to play.

They have no fewer than four players cup-tied, with the main issue coming in defence.

Nathan Clarke and Farrend Rawson have formed a promising partnership at centre half, but are ineligible after appearing for Bradford City and Derby County respectively earlier in the competition.

Charles Vernam (Derby) and Kevin Foley (Charlton Athletic) are also cup-tied.

Robins must also decide on the fitness of ex-Portsmouth and Everton striker Yakubu, who returned for the club’s under 23s after a month out in a midweek 2-2 draw with Bolton.
