FORMER Wallingford School pupil Jake Vokins has been selected by England Under 17s for the Algarve Tournament in Portugal.
The 16-year-old, from Oxford, who is on the books with Southampton, is in line to play against Germany, Portugal and the Netherlands in the annual competition.
Vokins, who has previously played for the under 15s, told the Saints’ website: “It means a lot, obviously.
“I’ve had continuous support from the club to get to this point, so hopefully I can just keep going. This is another step for me.”
