Oxfordshire's Hatti Dean goes for glory for Great Britain as she takes on the 3,000m steeplechase at the Spar European Cup in Vaasa, Finland.
The former Radley athlete, who now runs for Hallamshire Harriers, smashed the UK record for steeplechase last week when she clocked 9mins 43.11secs to win the BMC Nike Grand Prix in Manchester.
But she will face a stern test against Norway's Kristine Kikrem Engeset, who has clocked 9.34.28 this season.
Ireland's Roisin McGettigan is also likely to provide a strong challenge.
- In the men's European Cup in Munich, there is no place for Oxford City's Nathan Douglas.
Instead, Belgrave Harrier Phillips Idowu, flies the flag for Britain fresh from his victory in the Golden League meeting at the Bislett Games in Oslo.
Douglas was third with a leap of 17.18, behind Olympic, world and European champion Christian Olsson.
