A SERIES of excellent individual displays from Declan Wastie has spurred Bartholomew School, Eynsham, to a winning run in the Oxfordshire Schools Under 15 League.
After top-scoring with 42 not out in Bartholomew’s 75-run victory over Lord Williams Thame, Wastie produced a deadly spell of 4-7 as opponents King Alfred’s Wantage were shot out for just 14.
The 15-year-old all-rounder, who plays for Stanton Harcourt, then hammered 83 not out, in his school’s ten-wicket victory over Cherwell.
