NORTH Leigh have named former Cinderford Town boss John Brough as their new manager.
Brough, who left the Gloucestershire side last week, takes over at the club after Mark Gee ended an 18-year stint in charge of the Millers earlier this month.
He led Cinderford to the Evo-Stik Southern League Division 1 South & West title last season, but resigned after the club turned down promotion to the Premier Division.
North Leigh chairman Pete King said: “John is ambitious and he feels he can take North Leigh into the play-offs.
“He’s a very capable manager and he wants to work at a higher level. He feels North Leigh is the place to do it.”
Lee Smith has also made the move from Cinderford as player/coach, while Millers midfielder Wayne Turk has been handed a coaching role.
