Masons Arms A won 4-2 at Gladiators Club A to stay joint second, thanks to singles wins from Mick Murphy, Dave Rose and Martyn Wood, who went behind the black to win by 130.
Its has been a good week for Callum Bowler, who rattled up the top score of 12,010 in Premier Division leaders Marlborough’s 4-2 defeat by Didcot Con Club, and then won the league’s under 25 singles title, beating teammate Craig Mace.
