JOHN Coleman has promised his Accrington Stanley side will go on the attack when they face Oxford United at the Kassam Stadium tomorrow.
The clash pits third against fourth in Sky Bet League Two.
Although United have a six-point gap, Stanley have two games in hand and would become automatic promotion candidates if they could claim the points.
Coleman (pictured) is looking to make the most of United’s five-game winless run in all competitions at home and insists Stanley will come to play.
“With them not having particularly good results at home of late I think that adds a bit more spice to the game and probably a bit more pressure on them,” he told the Lancashire Telegraph.
“Possibly teams who have gone there lately haven’t gone there to try to win.
“They’ve gone there to try to stop Oxford playing and try to pinch a win, and some have been successful.
“We’re going to go there and try to win, so it should lend itself to being an attractive game, certainly if we can get back to the attractive passing football that I know we can play.”
