FOOTBALL: Janes hits hat-trick in Didcot victory
MARK Janes hit a hat-trick as Didcot Town won 5-0 at home to Burnham in Division 1 South & West of the Evo-Stik Southern League last night.
Jack Longford headed in a Josh Dutton-Black free-kick after 15 minutes, before Janes scored on 41, 45 and 52 minutes – the latter two from the penalty spot – to make it 4-0 as visiting keeper Dave Lyons was sent off.
Longford then also saw red, but George Reid hit No 5.
- THE draw for the semi-finals of the Oxfordshire Senior Cup sees Oxford City host Kidlington and Oxford United play North Leigh or Oxford University Press.
