GOSFORD All Blacks beat Abingdon 29-15 to maintain their lead at the top of the BB&O Premier.

It took five minutes for All Blacks to take the lead, Harry Sutton crossing the try line to make it 5-0.

Abingdon’s Chris Stables was sent to the sin-bin and the hosts took advantage with Bed Bodinham going over and Chris Bennett adding the extras.

A Stables penalty got Abingdon on the scoreboard just after the break, but All Blacks responded through Miles Johnson’s try.

Bennett converted to make it 19-3.

Abingdon battled back as Jamie Lochrie crossed, but Gosford secured the bonus point when Sutton went over for an unconverted score.

Bennett then dived over to make it 29-8, before the visitors had the last say with Lee Taylor forcing his way over and Stables adding the extras.

In the Championship, Harwell also ran in five tries as they beat Berkshire Shire Hall 30-7.

Olivier Auriacombe, James Hoskyns-Jones, Dave Paton, Dan Corne and Lewis Richards all crossed.

Mike Phillips kicked a conversion and a penalty.
