Aston Rowant won the Oxfordshire Under 17 Honey B Trophy final with a two-wicket victory over Cumnor at Horspath.
Holders Cumnor raced to 103-1 off eleven overs, led by captain Sulimain Hussain with a superb 63.
However, once Hussain was out there was an incredible collapse as Cumnor lost their remaining eight wickets for just seven runs to be all out for 111.
Rowant openers Alex Neville and Alex Ferriera added 51, and at 92-3 victory looked a formality.
But then Rowant slumped to 109-8 before edging over the line.
Scores: Cumnor 110 (S Hussain 63, J Chown 3-17), Aston Rowant 111-8 (A Neville 44, J Curtis 3-20).
Shipton-under-Wychwood took the Oxon Women’s Midweek League title with a 45-run win over Moreton at Charlbury.
Their innings of 124 was built around an unbeaten 37 by Emily Day. Moreton slipped to 79 all out.
Final: Shipton 124 (E Day 37no, A Jones 3-14, L Grain 3-28), Moreton 79 (E Gorton 3-6). 3rd/4th : Charlbury 91-5, Banbury 94-4. 5th/6th: Freeland 125-5, Oxford 85-9 ( L Priscott 5-24).
