Oxfordshire's Bradley Smith was in brilliant form as he finish second in practice for tomorrow’s German MotoGP at the Sachsenring.
The Monster Yamaha Tech3 Team rider from Jordan Hill, was 13th in the first session, but set a blistering time of 1min 21.740sec in the second session which left him only 0.119 off Marc Marquez, who completed a perfect sweep in practice.
“It was a positive start to the weekend and I am feeling comfortable on the bike already.” said Smith.
“The base setting seems to be working well.
“To be second at the end of day one is a strong start and now we need to keep this momentum.”
