GEORGE Baldock has agreed to return to Oxford United on a season-long loan deal from MK Dons.
The highly-rated right back was a hit on loan with the U’s after arriving in February, starting a dozen games and scoring once as the side finished the campaign strongly.
He has now returned for a second spell and, barring an injury crisis at MK Dons, will spend the entire 2015-16 campaign playing for Michael Appleton.
He said: “MK were quick to highlight they didn’t want me to leave permanently - they rewarded me with a new contract and allowed me to go out for a season-long loan.
“As soon as I knew that, there was only one place I really wanted to go.
“I bought into the way Oxford played last year and they’ve made some good signings.”
The 22-year-old is United’s fifth signing of the summer, following Liam Sercombe, Kemar Roofe, Ryan Taylor and Sam Slocombe.
He underwent physical testing at Oxford Brookes University this morning and will head with the rest of the squad to RAF Benson tomorrow for a two-day camp.
