Horspath's last pair survived the last six overs to secure a draw at home to Slough – and extend their unbeaten run in Division 1 to five matches.
After a well-contested game, the hosts finished on 158-9 in pursuit of their target of 184.
Horspath decided to field first, and had their opponents struggling at 94-6 at lunch.
When left-arm spinner Lloyd Belcher, who produced a long and controlled spell, took a wicket with the first ball after the interval, Horspath were well on top.
However Slough skipper Bobby Sher and Shazad Rana helped Slough reach 183 all out in the 62nd over.
Home skipper Will Eason returned 3-24 off 11.4 overs, while left-arm seamer Tom King, who dismissed the dangerous Waqas Hussain, took 2-19.
The Horspath innings followed a very similar pattern to Slough, as a couple of run outs left them struggling at 95-7.
While Adam Price and Andrew Roberts were adding 48 for the eighth wicket, they had visions of victory.
But in the end, Price, with an unbeaten 41, and last-man Belcher were left to fend off defeat against a surprisingly defensive Slough, who kept their fielders posted around the boundary until the last over.
