Captain Ollie Price made 68 to set Oxfordshire on the way to a 59-run victory over Worcestershire in the ECB Under 14 County Cup at Bletchingdon.
Price’s knock took Oxon to 186-9 in the Group 2 clash, with Tomas Bacon making 37 and Alex Chapman 25 not out.
Joe Chown (3-20) and Alex Chapman (3-25) then led the way as Worcestershire were bowled out for 127, despite 46 from opener Daniel Harvey.

A terrific display in the field saw the hosts dismissed for 97 after they had elected to bat.

Oxon secured victory in the 32nd over, as Alex Allen took 3-27 for Gloucestershire.

OPENER Alexander Laird hit an unbeaten 67 to take Oxfordshire Under 10s to a nine-wicket win over Dorset in a friendly at Bournemouth.
