OXFORD University head into tomorrow’s one-day Varsity match against Cambridge at Lord’s in a confident mood.
They go into the clash following six-wicket victories over Free-Foresters and the University of Sydney in The Parks this week.
The one-day clash is followed by the four-day match at Cambridge’s Fenner’s ground, which begins next Tuesday.
Oxford were unable to retain their 20/20 crown earlier this month, but are hopeful of keeping hold of their one and four-day bragging rights.
Head coach Graham Charlesworth said: “We’re confident of playing some good cricket.
“We have had a good week of preparation and good weather for the last two weeks so we have played plenty of cricket.
