Oxfordshire strengthened their grip over Dorset on day two of their Unicorns Counties Championship Western Division clash at Aston Rowant.

Oxon reached the close at 184-4 in their second innings, a commanding lead of 305 after bowling out Dorset for 224 earlier in the day.

Resuming on 50-2, the visitors had slumped to 105-5, before captain Chris Park and Mark Wolstenholme (72no) shared a stand of 98 for the sixth wicket.

However, Andy Harris then sparked a collapse, which saw the last five wickets go down for 21 runs.

He bowled Park for 42 and then had Samuel Thomson lbw off the next ball, before dismissing James Hayman in similar fashion.

Chad Keegan removed last pair Jay Warner and Rupert Kitzinger to give Oxon a first-innings lead of 121 runs.

Harris finished with 4-45, while Keegan picked up 4-55.

Oxon lost opener Hugo Darby first ball in their second innings, bowled by Hayman.

But Michael Beard and Lloyd Sabin (47) put on 70 for the second wicket, before Richard Kaufman (50no) and Joe White (44no) shared an unbroken stand of 86 for the fifth wicket.
