Rain came to the rescue of Shipton-under-Wychwood after they had conceded a club record score in their drawn clash at Finchampstead in Division 2.
Shipton were in disarray at 92-8 with 16 overs left when the game was washed out.
Finchampstead had earlier posted a massive 322-7 off 56 overs after being put in to bat, having lost two to rain.
It was the highest score Shipton’s attack have had taken off them, surpassing the 312-8 made by Gerrards Cross in 2012.
Skipper Dan Marles led Finchampstead’s run spree with a patient 106.
He came in at 18-1 and proceeded to frustrate the Shipton attack, before being the seventh man out with the score on an imposing 311.
Marles shared a second-wicket stand of 103 with opener Andrew House (48), the first of four victims for Charlie Brain.
William Rogers (34) maintained Finchampstead’s momentum, before Dan Lincoln smashed a blistering 81 to dominate a fourth-wicket stand of 105 with Marles.
Brain finally ended Marles’ long stay to finish with figures of 4-102 from 15 overs.
Shipton were soon in trouble at 12-2 with Stuart Hole and George Seacole falling to Craig Hodges.
They then lost wickets at regular intervals with Andrew Hemming, Jamie Perkin, Simon Hole and Sam Jones all getting in the teens before perishing.
Max Stevenson took 3-8 off seven overs, but then a downpour hit the ground much to Shipton’s relief.
