NEW Club B surrendered their unbeaten record and top spot in Section 5 as they were beaten 2-1 at new leaders The Red Lion A Marston.
A first leg loss of 18-15 set the tone for New Club’s evening, but they drew level by the odd doll 12-11 in the second.
However, Red Lion won the the decider 22-16 to take over as new leaders.
Wayne Morton clanged off his first six, but it was in vain as Six Bells B Quarry lost 2-1 to Donnington Club C.
Graham Morton top-scored with a dozen dolls (4-5-3).
It was a long night in the clash between Berkshire House A and Florence Park B in Section 7.

Sport
The first two legs went to three sticks after they were tied 14-14 and 16-16, with both teams winning one leg apiece.
Florence Park sealed victory 14-12 in the third.
Four sides are now tied on 15 points at the summit of Section 7 after The Blackbird’s 2-1 triumph at The Democrats.
After comfortably winning the first, Blackbird made it 2-0 by the odd doll 14-13, before Democrats grabbed a point.
Northway Club A still lead the way on dolls after a 3-0 win at The Bullnose Morris B.
Bullnose set 13 in the first with Northway just beating it by one and the latter’s 16 proved enough in the second.
Northway claimed the third leg 20-18.
