OXFORD RL’s away day blues showed no signs of letting up as they were demolished 64-0 by Oldham in Kingstone Press League 1.
After recording a club record fourth successive home victory, the Blues were brought abruptly back down to earth in Greater Manchester on Sunday.
While they have won four out of their five home games at Iffley Road, they have failed to pick up a point on their travels.
Oldham brushed Oxford aside with 12 tries, as Jack Holmes helped himself to a hat-trick.
The home side took the lead when Adam Clay touched down in the corner for a converted try.
And on 19 minutes prop Phil Joy wrong-footed the Oxford defence to cross.

Ten minutes later, Holmes scored and Adam Files wriggled over from close range.
Palfrey was successful with the boot from the second score.
And Oxford went into halftime 26-0 down after Holmes finished off a free-flowing move.
After the break, Oldham were in no mood to ease off the pace and added seven tries.
Gareth Owen went over after a superb team move, which Palfrey converted.
George Tyson grabbed a quick fire double, Palfrey on target with the extras for the first, before Liam Thompson went between two defenders to go over.
Palfrey added the extras for 48-0.
The home side were still not finished as Clay, Holmes, completing his hat-trick, and Kenny Hughes all crossed.
Palfrey converted two of the tries for 64-0.
Oxford now look to bounce back when they welcome North Wales Crusaders to Iffley Road on Sunday.
