Just a few weeks after Arsenal got their hands on the FA Cup for a second successive year, the county’s stars of the future will get a chance to see the trophy for themselves at Cutteslowe Park in North Oxford tomorrow as part of a two-day event.
Over 1,500 youngsters from over 270 teams across the county and beyond are competing in a tournament organised by Summertown Stars, starting at 9am today.
And as part of the event, the country’s oldest domestic trophy will be on show tomorrow afternoon between 1-4pm, due to Stars being a Nike Partner Club.
Summertown chairman David Rundle said: “It’s a wonderful sight seeing so many happy faces enjoying their football, especially in Women’s World Cup month.
“Our highlight of the weekend will be for teams to have a photo with the FA Cup – every players dream to win.”
