Oxfordshire's Tom Williams finished fourth for the Bicester-based Major Motorsport’s team in the Keith Frecker Memorial Stages at Weeton Barracks in Lancashire.
It was the first time the venue had been included in the Junior Formula 1000 Championship, which meant all drivers started the race on a level playing field.
Williams, 16, from Henley, was delighted with his performance.
He said: “It was another thrilling weekend up north doing my fourth rally and taking fourth place, which I am ecstatic with.

“From the start I had some close moments with gravel and kerbs.
“Then throughout the day I started to progress and move up the ranks and to have a battle for third.
“This has been my favourite rally of the season so far as it had some fast turns, jumps and winding lanes.”
