Oxford School of Gymnastics enjoyed their best haul from the National Acrobatic Finals, claiming four medals and a national title.
Five partnerships from the club qualified for the prestigious event, with Abi Woodliffe-Thomas, Aysha Hutter and Samara Chan winning gold in the highest national level.
The trio produced a stunning display, and although they had an agonising wait, secured gold in the Grade 6 category.
Toby Smith and Mungo Kavanagh, competing in their first major competition at just nine years of age, won silver medal in the Grade 2 men’s pairs.

Matilda Marriott, Bella Ekerold and Natasha Hutchinson also came second, their classy performance securing silver in the Grade 3 women group category.
Heidi Scholey and Lara Gunnell added to the tally by taking a hard-fought bronze medal in one of the toughest categories, the Grade 4 women’s pairs.
Agonisingly, Oxford missed out on all five partnerships winning medals when Louisa Weedon and Charlotte Jolly, despite producing a personal best routine, missed out on a medal by only 0.05 of a mark in the Grade 3 women’s pairs.
Coached by a small team led by Emma Parr and Carrie Day, a number of members will soon be competing in their first international event, the Turin Acrobatics Cup in Italy.
