Jim Jukes was the star of the show with a stunning treble at the Greene King ODDA Winter League’s finals night at Roman Way.
The Cowley Workers hot-shot not only won his sixth singles title, but also triumphed in the men’s pairs and helped his team to the seven-a-side trophy.
On a night of high-scoring, Jukes secured a hard-fought win over Les Radford (Goodlake Arms) to claim the singles crown.
Both players scored heavily, but Jukes’s finishing proved vital There is a new name on ladies singles cup as first-time finalist Katie Moore (Crown Inn) defeated Angie Pointin (Florence Park Community Centre A), keeping her nerve in a 2-0 success.
In the men’s pairs final, Jukes and his Cowley Workers teammate Pete Hall defeated the formidable duo of Preben Krabben and Kevin Wilkins 2-0.
The ladies pairs final brought together Chris and Shaz Thompson (Blackbird Bar) against Angie Pointin and Michelle Ewins (Florence Park Community Centre).
The Thompson girls ran out comfortable 2-0 winners to add their first Winter League pairs titles to their brace from the Summer League.
The mixed pairs final was an all-Democrats affair with holders Ray and Denise Pape being edged out 2-1 by Terry Wood and Paulette Guy in an agonisingly close game.
Hall was the star of Section 1 winners Cowley Workers’ 4-2 victory over Premier Section champions Challow British Legion in the seven-a-side final.
Jukes and Wayland Honour gave Workers a 2-0 lead, but the Legion pulled one game back when Peter Jones beat Phil Cook.
Hall lit up the night with an amazing three maximums in his 2-0 victory over Krabben.
Mark Pryde’s win over Lyndon Richards reduced the arrears to 3-2, but a victory from Arran Stevens over Jamie Cross saw Workers home to a notable victory.
Ladies Premier League champions Florence Park Community Centre A made it a League and Cup double when they defeated New Inn 4-0.

The men’s four-a-side winners are Abingdon’s Peachcroft Social Club, who defeated Democrats Club.
The Crown, Stadhampton, landed the ladies three-a-side title with a victory over Florence Park Community Centre.
