ANDREW Laird made home advantage tell when he won Tadmarton Heath’s open Beaumont Pease competition.

Laird , who plays off four at Tadmarton, shot rounds of 73 and 74 for a gross winning total of 147 in this 36-hole event.

He finished five clear of Luke Washbourne, also from Tadmarton, who was second on countback from Hadden Hill’s Dominic O’Rourke.
