Jamie Perkin’s rapid 77 helped Shipton-under-Wychwood go top of the Division 2 table after a 42-run success over Dinton.
Perkin top-scored as the hosts were dismissed for 228, but their total proved more than enough as Dinton were all out for 186, but criminally had more than ten overs remaining.
After Steve Bates was out early on for Shipton, Andrew Hemming and George Seacole put on 91 for the second wicket to lay the foundations for a decent total.
Both fell in quick succession, but with Perkin at the crease, Shipton were making steady progress.

Although nobody else was able to add significant runs, they did hold up an end while Perkin played an aggressive role.
The Shipton No 4 was eventually the seventh man out for 77, which came off 75 balls with eight fours and three sixes.
Anupam Sanklecha then claimed two early wickets as Dinton fell to 10-2.
Although the middle order all chipped in, wickets tumbled regularly, with veteran left-arm spinner Shaun Miller picking up three key victims mid-order to finish with 3-44.
Seacole claimed two wickets and Shipton wrapped up victory when Sanklecha ran out Nheem Amin to go top of the table.
