LONDON Welsh’s Chris Hala’ufia has been suspended for five weeks after pleading guilty to striking an opponent during the 38-17 defeat to Leicester Tigers on April 25.
Hala’ufia was sent off after an incident with Laurence Pearce.
The 36-year-old will miss Saturday’s match at league leaders Northampton Saints and the final game of the campaign against Saracens, as well as three fixtures next season.
Yesterday, Welsh announced the signings of Darryl Marfo, Harry Allen and Ryan Glynn.
