George Messum will lead Oxford University next season
Former England Students skipper George Messum was last night elected Oxford University's new captain.
The 23-year-old No 8 succeeds Jacob Taylor, who led the Dark Blues to a record-breaking fifth win in a row at Twickenham last month.
Before coming to Oxford last September 2014, Messum studied at Loughborough University and in his final year there captained the England Students team.
