JAMES Roberts scored for the second time in three days as Oxford United won 2-1 a development match at West Bromwich Albion.
The 18-year-old, who bagged a stoppage-time equaliser to earn the first team a 2-2 draw with Exeter City on Saturday, played 90 minutes this afternoon.
He volleyed home to round off an excellent move instigated by Sam Humphreys.
John Campbell also netted, turning in a cross from Miles Welch-Hayes for a United side which also featured two triallists.
At the other end Max Crocombe made two smart saves to keep the home side out.
United: Crocombe, Welch-Hayes, Dunkley, Cundy, Triallist, A Hawtin, George, Triallist, Humphreys, Roberts, Campbell (Shama 80).
