EDDIE Pepperell’s strong beginning to the season has seen him rocket to the highest world ranking of his career.
The 24-year-old from Abingdon moved up 32 places to 119th following his fourth-place finish in the Qatar Masters on Saturday.
It also sent him to 18th on the European Tour’s rankings for the season.
Pepperell returns to action on Thursday, when he tees up in the Omega Dubai Desert Classic.

Carol Chapman is the new ladies’ captain, while the men’s section will be headed up by Trevor Wood.
They have both opted to raise money for local charity The Abingdon Bridge, which provides support for young people in challenging circumstances.
