Chairman Martin Phillips has reminded clubs in the Serious Cricket Home Counties Premier League that they should strive to maintain high standards – both on and off the pitch.
In his report to the annual meeting at High Wycombe CC on Thursday, Phillips said that it was the committee’s aim to ensure that ground facilities and discipline were kept to a good level.
And he added that clubs aspiring to play in the league would be expected to attain those high standards.
Phillips also congratulated Harefield’s Chamu Chibhabha, who has been selected for Zimbabwe’s squad for the forthcoming World Cup.
