OXFORD University No 8 George Messum has been selected for the England Students’ squad to play Portugal in Lisbon on Saturday.
The St Anne’s College student captained England last spring, and also helped the Dark Blues to a record fifth successive Varsity Match victory last month.

Flanker Reece Lines, centres Hugh Saar and George Grieve, together with Jake Anderson, scored tries in a fine first-half display.
Sam Manning landed one conversion to make it 22-0 at half-time.
Jacob Turner added Banbury’s fifth try in a disjointed second half, with Manning again converting, before the hosts got on the scoreboard with a late penalty try.
Lewis Foy scored a brace of tries as Bicester Colts won 34-7 at home to Wootton Bassett in a friendly.
Dan Walker, Jimmy McKendrick, Cameron Davies and Louis Bounds also crossed the Wootton Bassett line, with Walker kicking two conversions.
