GOLF: Pepperell's in good shape to make Qatar cut
EDDIE Pepperell is in a good position to make the cut at the Commercial Bank Qatar Masters today after a promising first round yesterday.
The Frilford Heath golfer, from Abingdon, carded a three-under-par 69 in Doha to end up in a share of 22nd position.
Pepperell, who turns 24 today, is among the early starters in the second round this morning.
