GOLF: Eddie Pepperell is on the up in Abu Dhabi
Eddie Pepperell shot a superb second round of 68 to zoom up the field yesterday.
At the halfway stage of this big money event, the 23-year-old from Abingdon stands joint 12th on six-under par 138.
That puts him seven shots behind leader Martin Kaymer, who added a second-round 67 to his opening 64.
The Us Open champion leads by a shot from Belgian Thomas Pieters, with Rory McIlroy a further scot behind on 133.
