London Welsh stayed at the bottom of the European Challenge Cups's Pool 4 after a 26-3 defeat at Bordeaux-Begles last night.
The result means Welsh have yet to win this season in 19 attempts.
When the sides met at the Kassam Stadium in October, Bordeaux strolled to a 52-20 win, but there was to be no repeat as winless Welsh made the hosts battle in the mud before they sealed a four-try victory.
On 22 minutes, Welsh winger James Lewis was sinbinned and Bordeaux took advantage, going ahead with a try from Clement Maynadier, converted by Pierre Bernard.
Although Tristan Roberts cut the deficit with a penalty, a Charles Brousse try put Bordeaux 12-3 up on 32 minutes.
