Runaway Division 3 leaders Abingdon Conservative Club C suffered their first loss of the season in the Gentworks Oxford & District League this week.
The defeat was inflicted by hosts Oxford Bowls Club A, who won 4-2, thanks to a double by Roger Tomlin.
Abingdon still lead the way by six points.
Littlemore BBL C joined Abingdon Conservative A at the top of Premier and Division 1 with a 5-1 success Rileys C.
