JAMES Roberts could return to action for Oxford United this month after an encouraging initial diagnosis on his hamstring injury.
The 18-year-old striker, who missed a month earlier this season with a similar problem, damaged the same muscle in a tackle during Saturday’s goalless draw at Dagenham & Redbridge.
Roberts, who is expected to be out for two to three weeks, said: “It doesn’t feel anywhere near as bad as the first injury and I am hoping to be back quickly.”
